Clear expectations when plans change.
Consulting work involves time, preparation, and agreed deliverables. This draft explains how changes to a Sophistec Global engagement should be discussed. Your signed agreement and applicable mandatory rights govern the outcome.
01. Consultations And Engagements
This guidance concerns Sophistec Global business advisory, corporate and compliance support, finance and tax support, market entry, operations and workforce, and trade and supply chain engagements.
An initial inquiry does not create a paid engagement. Scope, fees, milestones, and cancellation terms should be confirmed in a written proposal or agreement before work begins.
02. Your Written Agreement
Check the cancellation and payment provisions in your accepted proposal or signed agreement first. This website draft does not introduce a universal refund period or replace those provisions.
Any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. Ask us to clarify terms before approving a service if anything is unclear.
03. Rescheduling A Consultation
If you need to move a consultation, contact your engagement representative or management@sophistec.global with the appointment details and preferred alternatives.
Availability and any agreed scheduling charges need to be confirmed. A requested change is not confirmed until both parties agree on the revised arrangement.
04. Cancelling Or Pausing Work
Send a written request identifying the engagement, the requested stop or pause date, and any work you would like completed or handed over.
The parties should agree on the impact on scope, milestones, committed resources, and third-party arrangements. Work already performed and agreed non-recoverable costs are considered under the contract, not an automatic website formula.
05. Requesting A Refund
Include the relevant invoice or engagement reference, the payment concerned, and a short explanation. Do not send payment-card details, account passwords, or unnecessary identity documents.
Refund eligibility, amounts, deductions, payment method, and timing depend on the agreement, the circumstances, and applicable law. No refund is guaranteed solely by submitting a request.
06. Deliverables And Handover
A cancellation discussion should address completed deliverables, work in progress, outstanding approvals, and information that needs to be returned or retained.
Ownership and permitted use of materials follow the engagement agreement. A cancellation does not automatically transfer additional intellectual property or waive outstanding agreed obligations.
07. Questions And Resolution
For a scheduling, cancellation, or payment concern, write to management@sophistec.global. We can direct the inquiry to the relevant engagement contact.
This proposed guidance needs approval before becoming an operational policy. Service-specific terms should be documented in the final agreement.
